THE AWE OF GOD WAS SOOO GOOOD!

Over the past few months, I have found myself studying God more.

Not just reading.

Not just listening.

But actually studying.

With the amount of people spewing out life-altering rhetoric and commentary, I’ve grown to a place where I no longer just trust anyone about the Word simply because they say they read it.

That used to be enough.

It’s not anymore.

There’s a lot being said right now.

A lot being taught.

A lot being declared boldly — and not all of it is rooted.

So instead of outsourcing my understanding, I felt the need to go back to God Himself. To slow down. To re-learn. To allow reverence to return to the center of how I approach Him.

This season has reminded me that familiarity can quietly replace awe.

You can quote Scripture and still lack reverence.

You can teach Scripture and still miss the fear of the Lord.

You can be loud about God and still be distant from Him.

What I’ve been craving is not more information — but alignment.

The awe of God puts things back in their proper place.

It humbles you.

It silences unnecessary opinions.

It makes you careful with what you say in His name.

I don’t want trendy revelation.

I don’t want recycled soundbites.

I want truth that’s been handled properly.

This isn’t about skepticism — it’s about stewardship.

If we’re going to speak on God, we should know Him.

If we’re going to represent Him, we should fear Him.

And honestly… returning to that place has been sooo good.
